Getting Started
The education of children with disabilities, which the school-going age are offered in special education (SPED) schools. In January 2010, there is a voluntary welfare organisations (VWOs) 20 SPED schools receive funding from the Ministry of education (MOE) and the National Council of social service (NCSS).FROM the schools run different programmes catering to different disability groups of children who are not able to benefit from mainstream schooling.
Special training is also available to other private driving schools and foreign system schools.
FROM the school to provide customised training programmes aimed at developing the potential of pupils and help them to be independent, SELF-SUPPORTING and contributing members of society. Individualised educational plans (IEPs) prepared for all students. In addition to classroom instruction is carried out by their teachers, pupils also receive support from Paramedical professionals such as psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and social workers.
